One of the earliest models by Danish designer Hans J. Wegner, the CH25 Low Armchair was first designed in 1950 for Carl Hansen & Søn and is now considered a classic example of mid-century modern design.
The armchair is crafted from solid wood and finished with a hand-woven seat using a distinctive pattern that requires more than 400 metres of cord. It takes a trained craftsman eight-ten hours to complete a single chair.
