To draw the Yanzi collection, the designers Neri & Hu were inspired by an urban scene: The many swallows that populate the streets of Shanghai, perched on rooftops, window ledges or scaffolding.
So they decide to stage birds on an aerial perch. The lamp creates a landscape of light that animates spaces with poetry and elegance.
It evokes three birds sins on branches. The structure and escutcheon are made of lacquered steel, the body of the bird is done in brass and the bell is in transparent blown glass. An extraordinary sensibility in the juxtaposition of hot and cold materials, essential while being sought.
